Dance Showcase Success

On the 2^nd May, dancers from Hethersett Academy took to the stage in the Helen Pye Theatre. Ready for another evening filled with dance performances, our students showcased the wide range of talent we are proud to nurture at Hethersett Academy.

Students from all year groups got involved displaying some amazing performances, entertaining a packed audience and showing off vast talents. A wide range of dance and music genres were displayed from ballet to street dance, with something for everyone.

Dance is a key part of our PE curriculum and combined with our extra-curriculum sessions for budding dancers, a lot of work and time has gone into preparing our performers for their time on the stage. Supporting each other in dance workshops and following tutorials from our teachers allows our students to take ownership in their efforts and the confidence to make it to the stage and perform.
